City ID's ambition is clear: to develop and manage unique full-service hotels with a local character, for long and short stays. Not just opening 3 hotels, but conquering the world and becoming the best fast-growing hotel group. City ID develops all projects itself and will also manage the hotels itself in the coming years. Scalability and sustainability are therefore important themes for this hotel group, including a digital way of working for the entire life cycle for optimum efficiency. 

At Based, we know all about an optimal workflow in the area of digital construction and management! We therefore help City ID step by step in setting up a data strategy, in line with the vision and mission of the hotel.

Start with the end in mind!

We believe that building management can no longer do without digital building. A digital model has all kinds of advantages in the exploitation phase. For example, the necessary information can be found much faster in a building model. All the information is bundled in one place. No more endless searches for the last replacement date of a pump, but directly visible in the model. The information in the building model can be analysed, so that necessary maintenance becomes clearer - and perhaps even predictable - more quickly.

A building model also makes it possible to make pipework, air conditioning and suchlike visible, where they would otherwise be hidden behind the finish of panels and ceilings. If the necessary information for management and maintenance is thought through beforehand, and this information is offered in a structured manner upon delivery, the operation will become much more efficient.

City ID takes this important step forward and goes for optimal efficiency in cooperation with Based. And we are only too proud of that!
