BPD

As a developer, BPD works to create affordable, sustainable living environments of the future. To develop these as efficiently as possible, together with the various partners, BPD brought in Based. We started by setting up a digital working method in the calculation department. To this end, a BPD-specific IDM has been established, and the team has been trained by Based. From this first start with digital working, BPD is supported to expand collaboration with BIM throughout the entire company. We are working on an overall vision for the company, internally called “Virtual Area Development BPD.” We are also working on securing this methodology within the company.

Setting up and securing the BIM working methodology includes the following:

• Establishment of a BPD-specific IDM
• Training the team on the application of BIM on various development projects
• Training “learning to work with models in the calculation department,” by the BPD IDM, using Solibri
• Setting up vision “virtual area development BPD”
